Product Description
This is a perfect docking station for connecting your iPhone or iPod Touch to your PC for charging or syncing. The dock itself is the same size as the official Apple(Apple Universal Dock) one and like the Apple device comes with no cables, but accepts the standard ones. Where the Apple dock has the advantage is it provides a number of inserts to ensure that the device is fully supported whilst in the dock, this FoneM8 dock does not it is a one size fits all. Which is fine for the iPhone and iPod Touch but the nano is supported only by the actual docking conector.

This is a realy sturdy little item and is a must have for any iphone user, I always find it a bit of a pain puting the charger that is supplied with the iphone up the base of it, with this little gadget allows you to basically just sit it into the dock and away you go.

I bought this to keep at work. It looks very smart and my iPod Touch fits in it well, no wobble. Power (using my mains charger) also flows in so I've every confidence a data cable will work too (five minutes later: just for completeness I got my lazy self out of my seat and found my data cable to give it a try and it does work too).
I've not tried the Line Out socket and have no intention to, it's not what I bought this for.
Just one note: The data cable goes in upside down, but thinking about it that does make sense (otherwise they'd have had to criss-cross the connections inside the unit which, even if possible, would surely have driven the price up).
My only regret is not buying a second one for here at home. Might have to correct that...
EDIT (01/02/2010): Just to say the unit is nicely weighted (i.e. it's NOT feather-light which might make it unstable) and has a rubber coating on the underside to stop it slipping (again, helping with stability). I ordered myself a second one yesterday. It's all good.

Bought this for an iPhone 3GS and so far no gripes whatsoever. The phone sits firmly in the dock with minimal wobble, the base of the dock itself is rubber so it doesn't slip and also it's got a bit of weight to it so it's quite sturdy when docked. The speaker is also not too muffled either when docked which is nice. You'll need your own cable but it shouldn't matter what type you use as long as you insert it upside down into the back of the dock (the wires would have to crossover otherwise :) ).

This ipod docking station arrived really quickly and both myself and my partner have used it. We both an Ipod Touch and find it easy to both connect and disconnect from the unit. It is now permanently attached to our pc for future use.
